korea day 5

Wednesday, June 20th (Happy Birthday Becky! ♥)

I had my first Shabu Shabu experience. This is actually a Japansese dish, but apparently people eat it all the time. Veggies and meat are cooked at the table in a broth-- the broth is so hot that the meat kind of cooks instantaneously. Then you dip it in hotsauce and eat it. After all the meat and vegetables have been eaten, noodles or rice (in this case noodles) are cooked in the remaining broth. I found it to be both temperature hot and super spicy! I was definitely sweating!!
