Monsoon season has begun!! It rained the entire day with promises of more rain to come. Took a taxi to Apgujeong an area of Seoul (this is the expensive area to live where the celebrities hang out) and ate more Shabu Shabu (the girls are addicted), this time it was even spicier. Luckily we ordered bulgogi as well, so my mouth wasn't burning the entire time. We did a little shopping and then went to the bar, which is owned by Robyn's "twin sister". They met eachother at a bar and thought they looked alike and both have moles in the same spot on their cheeks and call themselves Marykate and Ashley. She had a massive collection of music and music videos and people at the bar could request whatever. I also peed in my first "squatter" toilet. Not my favorite.
Other thoughts on Korea:
On chopsticks-- they are hard to use. I mean I could use them before, but not as deftly as everyone else here. I think I'm getting better though.
On squatter toilets-- I don't like them at all.
On monsoon season-- A little depressing.
On spicy food-- I think I'm starting to build a tolerance? It's too tasty to not try and eat it.
On language-- It sucks not being able to communicate. At the same time not knowing a language makes it musical.
Word.
Monsoon Season
Club Bitch was in the same building as our bar.
Robyn's Piglet Tigger likes to kick it at the bar too.
